Data Protection Policy

This explains how we look after the information you share with Happy Halo Co. For what we collect and who we share it with, see our Privacy Policy.

How we keep it safe

• Every page on our site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
• Card payments are handled by Square. Your card number is entered into Square’s own secure field and never reaches our servers, so we never see or store it.
• Only the owners of Happy Halo Co. can sign in to our store’s back office, and it’s protected by a password.
• The keys that connect our store to Square, Printful and our customer system are stored encrypted.
• Your information is stored with our hosting provider in the United States.

Who helps us

We use a small number of trusted services to run the shop: Square (payments), Printful (printing and shipping), Railway (hosting our site and database), Cloudflare (delivering our site securely), GoHighLevel (customer emails and updates), Plausible (visit counts), Pinterest (measuring our pins and ads) and Meta (measuring our Facebook and Instagram posts and ads). Each one only gets the information it needs to do its job.

How long we keep it

• Order records (what you bought, where it shipped, what you paid) are kept for up to 7 years, because we need them for returns, questions and taxes.
• Your contact details in our customer system are kept until you unsubscribe and ask us to delete them, or until you ask us to delete them at any time.
• Your bag is stored only in your own browser, and you can clear it anytime.

Kids

We make clothes for kids, but our shop is for grown-ups to buy from. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we’ll delete it.

If something goes wrong

If we ever learn that your information was accessed by someone who shouldn’t have it, we’ll tell you as soon as we can, explain what happened and what we’re doing about it, and notify anyone the law requires us to.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from our emails with the link in any of them, and turn off personalized ads in your Pinterest, Facebook or Instagram settings. Email [email protected] and we’ll reply within 30 days.
